AMS UPS Outage

במהלך בדיקות שגרתיות לסביבת ה POD בה מאוחסנים השרתים,
התקיים כשל במעגלי החשמל מול מערכות האל-פסק, שגרם להפרעה בשירות.
לאור הדברים, תתבצע שיחת בירור פרטני מול חוות השרתים בנוגע לאירוע ומסקנותיו.
הודעת חוות השרתים הרשמית:
במהלך בדיקות שגרתיות לסביבת ה POD בה מאוחסנים השרתים,

During a routine maintenance on the UPS systems in our Amsterdam data center, we experienced an outage affecting multiple PDUs within our server room at 2014-05-19 13:12 UTC. We are working systematically to restore service to all affected systems and are working closely with the building engineers and vendors to identify the root cause of the trip and failure of redundant systems.

Datacenter Staff have restored power to all affected servers and CCI hosts. However, due to the abrupt power disruption some affected customer servers require manual attention before coming online. Datacenter Staff are still working on bringing these customer servers back into service. Also, System Engineers are also working to restore service for affected customer CCIs.

Datacenter Staff reported that all affected Power Distribution Units (PDU) are energized and we are turn power up to affected racks. Affected customer servers and network infrastructure are starting to come online.

The datacenter provider has reported that some of the affected circuits are coming online.

Power is disrupted for some customer servers and CCI in POD 01 AMS02. Datacenter Staff are working with the datacenter provider to restore service to affected Racks.
